Today, i have a special treat as i will write about music - the music in our iPods/mp3 players that we listen to during our travel trips. Be it on a skiing trip, a backpacking expedition, a trek to the mountains, or some fun time chilling' at the beach, indeed music and traveling really go together. They create a harmony of symphony - scenery and sounds. Now, i will share with you my Top Travel Anthems for 2009.

Let's put it this way, in my opinion, these tracks have been tried and tested to make journeys more memorable and more exciting. Some may disagree as music is subjective. Good song choices. Chicane's No Ordinary Morning happened to be my feel good song. Ironic. Coldplay's Fix You is my anthem. Maybe with what I went through, I came to love its pain.

Maria Nayler's Naked and Scared. and of course, Mango and Aquadiva's At the Edge of this Mountain!

@Anonymous i am sorry for replying to you late. i was in Hong Kong when you commented. Anyway, yes i agree with you Coldplay songs always blow me away. For a solo traveler, it couldn't be more perfect than that. But i can't forget Bjork's New World. Perfect tune to listen to when you're on top of the mountain!!! Thanks Anon!!! Feel free to read some of my stories!

@trisha_cerilles Good choices. Who doesn't love Naked and Sacred. I have good memories of that song. Although i haven't heard of At the Edge of this Mountain. YouTubing it now! he he Thanks Trisha!!!

ohhh 9 songs on the list are my favorite too! mine includes robert miles -children and some all saints.

@At the Edge of this Mountain, the song is originally from lithuania/or somwer in that part of europe i gues. a local radio station here in cebu plays it very often thats why Mango's house track like 'Disappear are quite popular here.

keep inspiring us to see the world!
